A
business lawyer with over 30 years of international experience,
Dan McIntyre has assisted clients in negotiating, structuring,
and implementing transactions in industries as varied as real
estate, shipping, sports and entertainment, windpower, sewage
treatment, and water purification. Dan has undertaken transactions
throughout Canada, the United States, Europe and Asia.
Dan has acted for lenders in large debt realization matters
and has been instrumental in structuring and implementing
several complex financial restructurings. He has also acted
for developers, borrowers, lenders, and joint venturers in
large and complex transactions.
Of topical interest, Dan was retained by the Resort Municipality
of Whistler in the late 1970s to assist in the negotiation
and documentation of the Blackcomb Mountain Development and
Land Use Contract and helped create and implement the legal
structure for the development of the Whistler Town Centre,
golf course and related facilities.
Dan is “of counsel” with the firm and acts in
an advisory role.
